Former Irish dance champion, salsa performer and choreographer of 'South Coast Ladies'
A former champion Irish dancer and professional singer, Elaine has extensive teaching experience which allows her to explain movement in a relatable way that everyone can understand.
Known for her style, grace and infectious joy for dance, she is an approachable teacher whose thorough, yet light-hearted approach is very popular with her students.
Elaine trained, taught and performed internationally with Susana Montero before joining Ignite Dance Company in 2011.
In 2016 Elaine started her own salsa performance team, South Coast Ladies, based in Southampton.
Dance training for the movie 'Cuban Fury'

As well as appearing in the final dance scenes, Elaine was involved in training Nick Frost for his role in the movie Cuban Fury. For 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, Nick immersed himself in the salsa world and emerged as the dancer you see in the film.
